The Living Wake opens friday

Sol Tryon, my good friend and the producer of my first 2 features (Bomb the System and WEAPONS) will be premiering his directorial debut THE LIVING WAKE on Friday at Cinema Village. I am especially proud of this film and I have been involved since the very beginning, giving creative feedback along the way and watching it progress step by step, from the very first draft of the script through the memorable night watching a rough cut with Jesse, Mike and Sol at an investor’s apartment years later. Few people know how truly difficult an undertaking it is to make a movie and so rarely does all that time, energy and effort produce something great. THE LIVING WAKE is a great film, funny and poignant and I most definitely recommend it. Info below.

Hello Friends!

I am proud to announce that The Living Wake will be coming to select theaters across the country this summer!  I know you have all been hearing about this film from me for a long time and many of you have supported us at screenings in the past.  For that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  All of your support has allowed us to reach this tipping point in the life of The Living Wake.  We have been creating and releasing lots of fun viral videos which are now available on our new and improved website (www.thelivingwake.com <http://www.thelivingwake.com> ) and we will be having lots of press hitting the streets and web this week. If we can fill the theaters in NYC and LA over the next two weekends, we will be in a great position to spread the film far and wide.  If you have seen the film before, please take a moment to make a comment about it on your favorite blog or website and come see it again (It’s even better the second time around).  If you haven’t seen the film and will be in NYC, LA or Seattle during our release please find the time to come out and have a laugh with us.  Lastly, no matter where you are or how many times you have seen the film, please forward this screenings info poster (attached) on to your friends, family and anyone you think may be interested in seeing the film or supporting indie film in general. We will be having many hosted screenings with cast, crew and special guests so in addition to seeing a great indie film, you will be able to enjoy some personal stories and insight into making/distributing a film from the ground up. Again, I thank you all again for your continued support and I hope to see you at the movies soon!
