Lil Wayne broadcasts live on uStream hours before he heads to Rikers Island for a year for pleading guilty to possessing a legally registered gun (albeit in another state) on board one of his tour buses after a show in Manhattan.

As he says at the beginning of this video “This is history, you are watching history right now.” True dat. The simple fact that this video exists is historical. This is 2010 right here. Everyone has their own personal TV network, their own reality show and we follow who we choose, commenting as the story unfolds.

Now if we could only find a way to get a live stream hooked up in Rikers. Or a documentary crew following Wayne during his year inside. I’ll volunteer for that job.
