The director and actor are a team for accomplishing the extraordinary. Should there be a disparity in power between them it will only serve as a hindrance and a discouragement, drawing energy away from productivity and development of the character.

"Alamar," a Father, a Son and the Sea →
I checked out Alamar last night, highly recommended. It’s a beautiful film that deals with complex subjects in a very simple way. It’s about parenting, nature vs the city, and the sharing of culture/tradition/life with those we love. At it’s most basic it’s about a little boy’s really cool summer vacation. If any of this is of interest you I recommend checking it out.
